Since our Center's inception, the first major event that began to be held was the Christmas Choir, a show in which all of us at Luis Vives School wish to wish all our family and friends a Merry Christmas. All our students from the third year of Primary Education to the second year of Secondary Education participate in it.
All the music teachers who have conducted the choir have left their mark and personality on each edition. From the school's auditorium-dining hall in the 60s, 70s, and 80s, to the marvel that is the Palma Auditorium, the current venue, with a few years spent in the Sala Magna del Pueblo Español.
It is a tribute that the school pays to its founder every year. Its primary objective is to encourage students to engage in physical activity.
Throughout the school year, the Physical Education Department's teaching staff propose games, sports, and/or different activities aimed at promoting and encouraging physical exercise in accordance with the school's educational guidelines.
The tests are intended for students in grades 3 to 6 of primary school and take place at the Poliesportiu San Ferran sports center in the last quarter of the school year.
The Luis Vives School has been working for many years on expression, creativity, and visual literacy at different levels and in a cross-curricular manner. That is why, since its inception, our Arts Baccalaureate has been a natural, carefully designed, and vocational program that has welcomed students with different profiles: from those who have always excelled in artistic expression at the school; to those who have had an inclination towards audiovisual arts and different types of design; and those who have been truly creative in many disciplines (writing, sketching, theater, various projects); and finally, those students who, upon completing 4th year of secondary school, have felt a calling for the arts and its various manifestations. Everyone is welcome!
